Hi my friends,
Hope you all are having a very nice time with your loved ones. Life has been busy as usual with work. But also last week I got the opportunity to go for a Cisco advanced training on wireless at the Galle face hotel Sri Lanka. This was my first training after I joined MillenniumIT. Although the training was not much in terms of technical, I liked it.
Plus during the last week we at MillenniumIT started “Networking Quest”. I was also one of the people who supported the initiative to have the Quest. The idea was to spend one quality hour per two weeks to have technical discussions to increase and share our knowledge on this area. The first Quest was held on the last Monday and I did the initial presentation to kick off with the things. We received good feedback on the initiative and believe we can continue this quite well in the future.
Today I did a video for the AIESEC NLDS conference. Although this was a small task, I was happy to do this as well as enjoyed very much making my own video. I think somewhere deep inside me lies the need to support people to show what they really capable of doing, their true capacity. And with this small exercise I was retaken back to my times in AIESEC and looking forward to play a role in the future with youth development.
That’s about it for now…
Wish you all the very best!

Feeling Refreshed!!!
Hi all,
Life has been quite monotonous with work and my studies over the past few weeks. But i usually take a sufficient amount of time to read my book of the month. I now read "The Monk who sold his Ferrari" by Robin Sharma. This is a very nice book which talks about self improvement and reading a couple of pages/chapters every day gives me a lot of energy, aliveness and rich thoughts.
But yesterday i escaped from routine weekends i used to spent during the last couple of times by spending a good 6 hours of at a glamorous event organized by the senior brass band of "Ananda College": Prashasthi 2008. Prashasthi is an annual event organized for the 8th consecutive time and is an ocestra played by brass bands of different schools in the country. Plus popluar singers too added color to this event by their performance. This time the event was more than what i excepted before participating. The electrifying atmosphere, the glamour, the beauty and the youth i saw took me back to my school days & sometimes reminded me of the things that i missed during my school time. Anyway, i had a wonderful time there singing loud with the crowd, dancing & laughted a lot. Prashasthi really refreshed me a lot & gave me a lot of memories making me feeling good & happy.
I hope my friends all around the world too are having a great time!
Warm regards to you all!
